BloodHelp Safety Guidelines
BloodHelp connects registered individuals with nearby volunteer blood donors. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe, transparent, and non-commercial community.
Life-Threatening Emergency Protocol
If a patient is in immediate, acute critical danger, contact the hospital's blood bank or call the national emergency helpline 112 immediately. BloodHelp should be used as an auxiliary donor coordination channel and not as a substitute for emergency healthcare services.
1. Mandatory Medical Cross-Matching
BloodHelp is NOT a hospital, blood bank, or diagnostic laboratory. We do not test, certify, or collect blood.
- All blood donation and transfusion must take place inside authorized hospitals or licensed blood banks.
- Certified laboratory medical staff must perform ABO/Rh blood grouping, cross-matching, hemoglobin screening, and mandatory infectious disease testing (HIV, Hepatitis B/C, Syphilis, Malaria) prior to any transfusion.
2. Voluntary, Non-Remunerated Donation (Indian Law)
Under the National Blood Policy of India and the Supreme Court of India directives, commercial trading, buying, or selling of human blood is strictly illegal and a punishable offense.
3. Two-Way Contact Privacy Handshake
Your personal telephone number and email address are never exposed on public pages or search engines. They are only made available to a verified requester after you review the hospital requirement and explicitly click "I'm Available to Help".
